TEAM
Director, Cody Caskey, has been in the electrical industry for over 12 years, starting at a young age of 17 once the decision was made to not go to uni. Leaving half way through year 13 to pursue a carear in the trades. Electrical came out the winner. Moving from Whangarei, Northland to Wellington. A long way from home. The journey has been long and various, working for many companies during his time as an apprentice to get skills in various sectors, commercial, industrial and residential. The best part, completing a project and enjoying the final result of hard work. The worst part, pink batts. Moving to Turangi in 2018 and starting a business to continue pursing a career in electrical, as well as business management. Almost a 5 year journey so far with many homeowners and new friends met along the way. No house is the same and no job is the same. We also are constantly looking at business expansion reaching into the Taupo region, Nation park, Taumaranui area, and beyond. As well as expansion, we are constantly upskilling and expanding our capabilities and contract works. We introduced a heatpump / air-conditioning division due to the lack of local installers and support. Expanding into metering works which has taken us all around the region to supply people with smart meters and solar export meters to take advantage of there export line credit. Our next step is electrical vehicle / EV charging due to the growth in the coming years of EV vehicles purchases with numeours options to choose from and technology advancing reaching amazing strides. With the increases of EV chargers and EV vehicles, we will also be expanding into solar and creating a new solar division. Watch this space. Caskey Electrical has come along way and expands daily.
